Visconti and Sforza Milan

The Viscontis and Sforzas are part of Milan’s  history and the fascinating, often turbulent events that marked the fortunes of both dynasties will unfold as you discover their city. Two essential stops are the Duomo with its one-of-a-kind fairytale marble spires and the Sforza Castle, once the grand residence of the Dukes of Milan, later a fortress under perennial siege by the city’s changing occupants.
