Milan’s Districts ( the coolest areas to visit)

Milan’s layout is concentric: the historical center is enclosed in the heart of the Navigli Canals, the ancient defensive fortification, while the Spanish Walls and what is today commonly called the inner ring separated the city from the rural areas.
The six main areas which led from the center towards the outside were called Sestieri (the word derives from Latin sesto (sixth). Together we will discover monuments and features of each district in an ideal path along the remains of the walls.
